Paola: Italy

I am an Italian Ikebana student of the Sogetsu school.

My Name: Paola BELFIORE
My Teacher's name: Lucio FARINELLI
Material: Peonia, Maple and Contorted Nut.
Container: Crystal vase

I was inspired by the elegant, slender shape of the crystal container and the contorted but delicate form of the nut branch, that is suspended around the vase. Peonies are the focus with maple giving levity to the whole. Coloured water, the unconventional element.

Thank you for organising this award.
Sincerely,
paola belfiore
