Basic Style: New Students
Our new term started this week and we welcomed several new students. These are the works by three of our new students, Azumi (top), Rebecca and Dannie. All of them made the same basic style very well.

Basic Style: Heather
Heather is now confortable with Nageire style arrangements. While you are studying basic styles, focus on learning basic styles. Then, you can learn how to talk to the flowers. Once you learned how to communicate and meditate with flowers, you can enjoy making free styles. Making free styles without talking to flowers is waste. Shoso Shimbo

Homework: Lea
I've attached some photos of the floral arrangements I've done over the holidays. They're not exactly ikebana though..... I've been doing more "normal" floral arrangements for some reason. I need to get back into ikebana!
I'll see you Thursday night for the first class of 2012.
Cheers,
Lea
