Associate Professor Osamu Inoue (Kyoto University of Art & Design) will give a free 1 hour lecture on aesthetics of Ikebana, Japanese flower arrangement. English presentation. Dr Inoue obtained his PhD from Kyoto University. He is a prominent Ikebana researcher and is the vice president of the International Society of Ikebana Studies. He has recently published a book, "The thoughts of Ikebana"(Kyoto: Shibunkaku Shuppan).
