Mona-Lisa: Gathering Contraries

Name: Mona-Lisa
Address: Iassy, Romania
Teacher: Sorin Mazilu

Materials (Kazai): Rumex, Wild Grasses, Dried Elm branches, Gypsophila.

Brief Comment: Nature, as a reflection of Life, can appear many times as a wild nebula. Gathering contraries, heaviness and lightness, life and death, movement and stillness, opposite directions, Nature teaches us the complex and paradox character of life. The arrangement aims to suggest this feature. Using dried branches for sustaining, other materials of various density create this apparent “chaos” of this plant nebula. In its core, Rumex, a symbol of Life strength and various instances: leaf, flower, seeds - is bursting courageously toward light, giving collision to the arrangement.
