I was inspired to do some freestyle arrangements after I saw Headmaster Sen'ei Ikenobo on Saturday.
I used only things from my own garden, which was also a challenge.
I really enjoyed the contemplation, and tried to remember the things the Headmaster talked about.
This was my fourth inspiration. Here I was trying to contrast the shapes and sizes of the material in a slender container. I think I needed a longer leaf at the back. I tried to bend it up a bit, but it wouldn’t obey me.
